Dutch Oven Tripod

When you want your Dutch oven off the ground, but you don’t want to put it on a table, you should buy a Dutch oven tripod.  A Dutch oven tripod is similar to a camera tripod, except it keeps a Dutch oven off the ground, but away from the table.  Their typical design is three poles connected at the top like a tent with a sturdy chain hanging down the middle that’s able to hold the weight of a Dutch oven filled with food.  People can walk up to the Dutch oven, remove the lid, and not have to deal with the difficulty of putting them on a table.  The chain connects to the handle, which is made of material similar to a coat hanger, and attaches to where the three legs meet.
They’re better than having them on the ground, but not as good as putting them on the table.  You still run the risk of things getting kicked into your tasty mixture.  Granted, the risk isn’t nearly as high, but there’s still a risk of something happening.  Plus, the mechanism for keeping the Dutch oven connected to the tripod isn’t foolproof.  It’s a chain and chains have the tendency to break.  We recommend that you buy a Dutch oven tripod that has a thick, sturdy chain that will keep your Dutch oven off the ground, even when it ages and deteriorates.  You want something that will keep its form throughout the years, no matter what you might do to it.
